Fabric announces book that captures its 25-year history

Legendary London nightclub fabric is marking its 25th anniversary with the release of a 300-page book self-titled fabric.

Published by White Rabbit and written by Joe Muggs, the book features over 100 testimonies from DJs closely tied to the club, as well as contributions from fabric staff members. It also includes rare photography, iconic artwork, an introduction by Bill Brewster, and a foreword from Annie Mac.

In discussing the book, Joe Muggs said, “People often say, ‘If these walls could speak…’ After months of interviews, research, and writing, I felt like the walls of fabric’s underground space in Farringdon were truly telling their stories—thousands of nights and millions of dancers have shaped this club. fabric feels alive, a constantly evolving work of art, and immersing myself in 25 years of its history was an incredible experience.”

The book will be available in three editions. The standard edition hardback will be released on December 3rd, priced at £50 and limited to 4,000 copies.

Two special editions will follow on December 17th. The “Record Store Special Edition” hardback, priced at £99, features exclusive cover art, a blind debossed slipcase, classic fabric art prints, and a copy of the out-of-print fabric 001 mix CD by Craig Richards, limited to 1,000 copies.

The ultra-limited “Super Deluxe White Rabbit Edition,” priced at £349, is restricted to 500 copies. This edition includes exclusive foil-blocked cover art, a slipcase, fabric’s 25th birthday poster, classic artwork prints, and special memorabilia, including the highly sought-after fabric silver pendant from the club’s opening in 1999.
