The Strokes add extra London O2 show to ‘Reality Awaits’ UK tour
New York icons The Strokes have expanded their upcoming UK run, adding a second night at The O2 Arena due to high demand.
The extra London show lands right in the middle of their long-awaited Reality Awaits tour, the first full UK run in 20 years.
The tour ties into their upcoming album of the same name, their first release since The New Abnormal. The record has reportedly been pieced together across multiple locations, with longtime heavyweight producer Rick Rubin ob board. It’s expected to drop on June 26.
Alongside the London dates, they’ll be hitting major arenas across the UK and Ireland, including Co-op Live and 3Arena, bringing a stacked lineup of support acts with them on select dates.
They will also be visiting North America, Europe and Japan, making this a comeback tour, nostalgia trip, and new era rollout all rolled into one – and if the instant sell-outs are anything to go by, fans are more than ready for it.
