Everything But the Girl Announce New Best-Of Album

Everything But the Girl are set to release a new career-spanning compilation, The Best of Everything But the Girl, arriving November 14 via Buzzin’ Fly and Chrysalis. The 16-track collection charts their four-decade journey, moving from early classics like Night and Day through to their 2023 comeback Fuse.

Speaking about the tracklist, Tracey Thorn explained: “We always liked albums that had a fast side and a slow side, so we thought we’d start with the bangers and wind down with the ballads.” Ben Watt added that the sequencing works in reverse chronological order, creating a sense of moving “from clubland back to bedsit,” ending by pairing recent track Run a Red Light with their 1982 debut single.
