Brand new UK festivals making their 2022 debut

Newcastle: Lost Minds, April 30

Lost Minds promises to bring “the strongest forces of dance music together in sweet harmony”. The all-day festival will take place at Newcastle’s Leazes Park across three stages, and includes a megadome, trance pavilion and secret VIP garden. The lineup includes Nicky Romero, Reblion, Will Atkinson and Ben Nicky. Full line up and tickets here.

East Sussex: Seaside Beano. May 20-23

Following closure in January this year, London’s nightclub The Cause returns as a summer beach festival at Pontins Camber Sands Holiday Park in Rye. Consider it a pool party meets seaside activities plus drag shows, go karts soundtracked by Overmono, Objekt and Pangaea. Full line up, event info and tickets can be found here.

Kent: Dream Valley, May 28

A day festival with over 100 acts across 7 stages, with an outdoor cinema, dining experiences and a roller rink. Roger Sanchez, Basement Jaxx and East End Dubs are just some of the acts providing the tunes. Tickets and line up are here.

London: Flesh, May 28-29

Proudly launching as London’s first LGBTQ+ electronic music and camping festival, underrepresented and minority acts define the entirety of the line up. “Many people talk about equality in electronic music, but Flesh is taking real life action to make it happen.” Jaguar, Lady Shaka and LSDXOXO are just some of the line up announced so far. Chelmsford: Creamfields Chelmsford, June 3-4

We all remember Creamfields to some extent, and this rebirth coincides with the 25 year anniversary of the O.G. festival launch. Amelia Lens, Carl Cox, Pete Tong and Bicep are all part of the celebrations. Full line up and tickets are here.

Perth, Scotland: Otherlands, August 19-21

Staged in an historic Scottish castle, Otherlands combines nature and music against a backdrop of a wholly immersive creative experience. Folamour, Honey Dijon and DJ Seinfeld are some of the acts set to play across the festival’s six stages. Tickets and line-up information here.
