UK households encouraged to host Ukrainian refugees
The government has launched a new humanitarian campaign to help refugees seeking sanctuary from the escalating conflict in Ukraine.
The Homes for Ukraine scheme will enable Britons to open their homes to people fleeing the country. People will be able to nominate an individual or family with or without ties to the UK to stay with them for at least six months.
Participating households will be offered £350 a month as additional support from the government.
