Joan Jett and the Blackhearts announce UK headline summer tour

Joan Jett and the Blackhearts have announced a UK headline tour for summer 2026, marking their first run of major shows across the country in 16 years.

The five-date tour is scheduled for July and will see the band perform in cities including Glasgow, Manchester, Leeds, Wolverhampton and London, concluding at the recently opened British Airways ARC venue in the capital.

The tour represents the group’s first full UK headline run since 2010 and follows a period of continued live activity elsewhere, including appearances at major concerts and collaborations with other artists. Support across the UK dates will come from The Meffs, whose politically charged style aligns with the legacy of Jett’s own work.

Tickets for the shows are set to go on general sale on 24 April, with strong demand expected given the length of time since the band last toured the UK extensively. In addition to the headline dates, Jett has also been confirmed as a support act for My Chemical Romance at their Wembley Stadium show later in July.

Jett’s connection to the UK dates back to the early stages of her solo career, including recording her debut album in London, and the upcoming tour is expected to revisit material spanning decades. Recent appearances have also included high-profile performances alongside members of Nirvana at a benefit event, as well as work with Billy Idol on tour and in the studio.
