Recorded during a performance in 1995, the mix has long been celebrated as a key snapshot of Mills’ singular style as a DJ. Although it has been revered for years, it has only just become available on streaming services. The selection includes tracks such as Surgeon’s Magneze and Argon, Ken Ishii’s Extra (Luke Slater Remix), Joey Beltram’s Game Form (Robert Armani Remix) and The Start It Up, alongside a number of Mills’ own productions, most notably the enduring anthem The Bells.
The release follows celebrations marking three decades since Live At Liquid Room – Tokyo, which included a vinyl reissue and a worldwide tour. Dates took in venues such as fabric in London, Joule in Osaka and Tokyo’s Liquidroom, among others.
