Introducing: Beau and the Arrows
Don’t you feel like good old indie has been a little neglected by you, the music listener, recently? Beau and the Arrows are what you need to listen to. They are a little 2007, nostalgically so, and have the childish manner of, say, Los Campesinos, Kate Nash, or a young Noisettes.
The band germinated from Beau Carter’s solo project; he soon recruited vocalist Jasmin Foley alongside Layla Dudley and Jaimin Allen and thus created Beau and the Arrows.
Quilted in lush reverbial riffs with clean cut mockney vocals, Beau and the Arrows may well bring back the popularity of indie guitar music. They sound very youthful, so much so that they’d fit in an episode of Skins quite effortlessly. They gon’be popular with the kids.
Where the band be playing in the future:
15th March @ The Dublin Castle, London
22nd March @ Enterprise, London
7th April @ Alley Cat, London
21st April @ Monarch, London
28th June @ Old Blue Last, London
