Introducing: Pop Girls Takeover Week

All this week on PlanetPrime Planet, we’re holding a celebration of the latest generation of firebrand pop females to be dominating our stereos. Whether that be ChlÃe Howl‘s very British spin on the electro-tinged pop song or Max Marshall‘s sensual, soulful R&B, what’s for certain is that 2013’s been a great year for many a pop girl. You might go so far even, as Denmark’s Oh Land puts it on her latest single, to call them “renaissance girls”.
