Introducing: Kendrick Lamar

Kendrick Lamar is a name that you’ve possibly heard on the grapevine* (*internet) but whose work may not be familiar to you. To clear that up, he’s a rapper from LA who has appeared on tracks by Drake, Tech N9ne and The Game, and now he’s finally branching out on his own.

His debut single, The Recipe (featuring Dr. Dre – a sign of quality if there ever was one), is a cracking slice of old school west coast hip-hop, and a track that’s sure to be the soundtrack to the summers of rap fans the world over.
