Introducing: Said The Whale

Vancouver based band Said The Whale aren’t especially new on the scene. Having formed in 2007, the five piece have released three albums as well as a variety of singles and EP’s. So why the sudden interest?

Their latest album, Little Mountain, is an absolute belter, that’s why. It’s kind of a hybrid of – bare with me – Get Cape, Wear Cape, Fly, Stornoway and Tokyo Police Club – basically, moderately folky indie rock.

But don’t let “moderately” put you off, these guys (and gal) are the real deal. Trust me.
