Introducing: Torches

The past few weeks have seen many bands and artists come through the revolving doors of PlanetPrime Planet’s introducing section, and they’ve all been of a similar ilk: pop, singer-songwriter or surf-rock. Today, however, sees a bit of a change of pace.

London band Torches sound a bit like The Vaccines if they hung out with The Horrors, or Chapel Club – brooding and sinister. You get the idea.

Torches are relatively new on the scene, too, which makes their debut single, ‘Sky, Blue & Ivory’, all the more impressive. Stream it below.
