With a new album on the way for 2012, classically-infused minimal electronic producer Max Cooper announces a release of newly remixed EP ‘Amalgamations’. Bringing another work of art in the form of a remix of Get People’s ‘Careless’ and a rework of cinematic electronic producer Hiatus’ ‘Third’, these new musical instalments electrifies in epic proportions. Fresh from various releases which have gained a huge amount of support from his peers and the public, Max Cooper is consistently making a name for himself in being one of the world’s most iconic recording artists in modern dance music – and rightly so.

Kicking off with Hiatus’ ‘Third’ remix, Cooper echoes sombrely impressive sounds of building drums and haunting synths which rise through the track as it progresses beautifully. Topped with some ghostly vocal samples, the track brings tension into the air as it establishes more chord changing pads. And with acceleration in pace, Copper’s remix of Get People’s ‘Careless’ puts together a careless (ha, get it?) driving beat that reverberates through your body slowly and subtly with an inherent shimmer of divine bliss.

This innovative EP shows that even when toying with the tools, tricks, and sounds of others, Cooper can infuse a song with the necessary soul to stand out. And these auditory delights can be all yours as of November 7th. You can also catch the sonic pioneer performing one of his notoriously killer live sets this Friday when he headlines London’s Electrowerkz.
