Introducing: Murphy Jax

Although we may just be introducing Murphy Jax to you now, the truth of the matter is he’s already been doing music for seven years! The Berlin based man has already released some limited, underground vinyls using a slew of different monikers before finally finding a label to call home with big name, electronic based Clone Records from the Netherlands.

As 2010 came to a close, Murphy Jax had his first release with Clone Records and saw single ‘It’s The Music’ become number 12 in the top ’50 tracks of 201o’ from Groove Magazine. Now, in 2011, Turbo Records will release Murphy Jax’s four-track, EP featuring the hypnotic, trance styling of ‘We Dance’ and the more acid, vintage feel of ‘It’s Time to Bump.’ Murphy Jax keeps that classic Chicago vibe sound alive in his music and the digital version of the EP will see heavy hitters, Matt Walsh & Zhao, and Populette do remixes.
