Introducing: S.C.U.M’s new video for Summon the Sound

You all remember S.C.U.M right? The London five-piece that brought the style of a slick 80’s Goth and the sound of melodic epicness to the table a couple of years back. Well, if you don’t remember them, then refresh your memory with their video for new track, Summon the Sound.

Like the song, the video for Summon the Sound is made of eerie proportions. A simple red, flashing light is cast on the band performing, creating shadow like figures. In this low lit three and a half minute wonder, the visionary aspects reflect the slow-burning sound of the new track. What I like most about the video is that it’s not a huge production, it’s simple but effective. And even though it should probably come with a warning for any epileptic viewers, it definitely creates a good atmosphere for what’s to come from S.C.U.M.
