Bali lifestyle the W way…
The only W Hotel I’ve found that isn’t located in the center of a city. Instead, W Retreat & Spa is situated in Seminyak, right by the beach in a land of it’s own. From incredible beach views from your suite in the mornings, to picture perfect sunset’s from WOOBAR at night, little can go wrong during a stay here. The breakfast buffet houses all cuisines, and you can even choose between two restaurants to enjoy it at. One poolside, one beachside.
Since this is a time of relaxation (I’m assuming: you’re on holiday in Bali after all) the AWAY Spa is worth a visit. Genuinely the best massage I have ever had – and trust me, I’ve had a lot of massages over the years as Beauty Editor for Prime Planet – the masseuse knew exactly which areas to focus on, and how much pressure to apply. AWAY Spa is open 24 hours a day so there’s really no excuse not to try it out – that’s if you’re the kind of person who needs to be persuaded to spa, anyway.
White canopy beds are situated between the extensive pools (which were designed in such a way to mimic the aesthetic of Balinese rice paddies) for you to ponder on how life hard is at the end of a full day of nothing.
