StubHub: The White Knight of Tickets

As much as we’d love to plan our lives six months in advance, sadly it rarely quite works out like that. We are forever missing out on events because we only realise they’re happening the week before, at which point they’re usually sold out. Either that or we planned really far in advance, not realising that the gig was the same day as relatives birthdays, holidays or bar mitzvahs and then are left with a massive pile of tickets and trying to flog them to mates through Facebook. Or worse, navigating ticket touts. Sigh. Thankfully a solution has materialised, in the form of StubHub. It’s a very simple concept: for sellers, it provides a simple, fan-to-fan way of selling unwanted and/or unnecessary tickets and for pop-crazy late-organisers like us, it provides a way of getting tickets last-minute to the kind of gigs we really want to get into. Like One Direction. No, srsly.

We were lucky enough to catch them perform briefly at the BRITs earlier in the year and all we can say is that their live show (unsurprisingly) rocks. So what are you waiting for? Head over to StubHub and get yourself involved – it’s how we’re spending our lunchbreak.
