Wu-Tang Clan announce new album

Wu-Tang Clan has announced a new album titled Black Samson, the Bastard Swordsman, produced in collaboration with their longtime associate, Mathematics.

Scheduled for release on April 12, 2025, to coincide with Record Store Day, the album will be available on high-quality vinyl and is also expected to have a digital release.

This project marks the group’s first full-length release since 2017’s The Saga Continues and features contributions from all nine surviving members: Method Man, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, Cappadonna, U-God, Masta Killa, Inspectah Deck, GZA, and RZA. The album will also include guest appearances from Kool G Rap, Kurupt, and Benny The Butcher.

Raekwon praised Mathematics, calling him “a top-tier producer who makes music with his soul attached.” Mathematics himself described the album as more than just music, emphasizing its innovative storytelling and cultural significance.

Fans can look forward to experiencing this unique blend of musical innovation and storytelling when the album drops in April.
