Sam Fender releases new single and announces global tour

Sam Fender has released a new single, People Watching.

It’s the title track of his new album, which is due for release on February 21, and offers up his distinctive and danceable take on heartland rock that belies his characteristically poetic, heartstring pulling lyrics.

Explaining the inspiration behind the track when teasing it on Instagram, he said it’s about, “somebody that was like a surrogate mother to me.”

Fender will preview his new record during his People Watching Tour of the UK and Ireland this December, with the European and US legs following in 2025.

£1 from every ticket sold for the UK dates will be donated to the Music Venue Trust in support of grassroots venues. Tickets are on sale now, and you can sign up to the mailing list for future dates here.
