New compilation celebrates 90s Dutch house

A new 2×12-inch compilation, The Hidden Beauty Of Dutch House (’94-’98), shines a spotlight on Dutch house music from the ’90s.

Scheduled for release on March 15, it marks the debut record on the newly launched Anacalypto Records. The label aims to shed light on Dutch producers from the ’90s whose contributions were often overlooked at the time.

Featuring eight tracks, the compilation includes works by max 404, Maas & Leest, and the trio Misty Movement, among others. Alongside vibrant house sounds, it explores breaks and atmospheric deep house throughout its tracklisting.
