Introducing: Niva

Christian Niva, occasionally known as The Quietboy, is a Swedish composer of electronic music.  Taking soundbites of toddlers, the occasional D & B beat, and a fondness of the vocoder, Niva has put his stamp on Chillwave.  His samples and loops are Pariah-esque, although his rhythm in general has a faster tempo than Pariah’s, and vocals are more prominent throughout his music.  His new E.P., ‘Feverish Dreams’, is a lot less bleak than his contemporaries such as James Blake and the like, his voice a thick fog lingering above the field of samples he uses throughout the E.P.  Click here to hear what we’re talking about!  Niva’s ‘Feverish Dreams’ is out on 28th March.
