Introducing: Engine Earz-Experiment
If you haven’t noticed yet, dubstep is rapidly taking over the airwaves left, right and centre. Keeping that takeover rolling comes in the form of electrifying UK collective, Engine-Earz Experiment. The South East group have been attacking the live scene for quite a while now, but with the release of debut single Reach You (out now), Engine Earz-Experiment are ready to take over the dubstep scene completely.
Fresh from supporting The Streets on their epic farewell tour, EEE have been doing a very good job at tearing up dancefloors across the nation. Standing out from the crowd, the collective take elements from drum ‘n’ bass, electronica and alternative rock, fuse them together and smash all the boundaries that usually confines dubstep to four walls. They’re debut single, Reach You, features lush vocals from Lena Cullen (She is Danger). She brings a delectable softness to the hauntingly, atmospheric single. Reach you is taken from EEE’s debut album which will burst onto the scenes later on in the year.
Engine Earz-Experiment has already received a vast amount of critical acclaim from DJ gods such as Basement Jaxx, Zane Lowe and MistaJam. With support from Radio 1 and a headlining set on the BBC Introducing stage at Glastonbury under their belt, it’s no wonder their set for greatness.
This spring and summer sees EEE hitting the road with a support slot on Tricky’s European Tour, as well as numerous UK dates of their own. This weekend in fact they’ll be at Camden Crawl, if you’re there, check them out.
