Festival Preview: The Garden Festival

Oh, it’s not a gardening festival… so I should most likely put away my shears. This is awkward. The Garden Festival is so much better than some tulips and roses, anyways. It’s a 7 day musicapoolza, set on the beautiful Dalmatian coastline in Tisno. The Garden Festival returns this upcoming summer for it’s 9th year. 7 days, 3 onsite stages, 18 Argonaughty and Arbiana boat parties and 8 Barbarella’s club nights, sounds like the mixings for real party. The site features a wide range of accommodation options, with the coastal village of Tisno offering further villas, apartments, hotels and a wide range of lovely food and drink, with islands, national parks and historic cities all close by. You will never be bored here, ever.

I’d go to this festival, even if the only act they had was Kevin Federline (Britney Spears corn rowed ex-husband) playing his one and only album Playing With Fire. Thank the stars above that this is not the case, because The Garden Festival has already promised one hot line-up. Now I can’t tell you who is headlining the island parties, but I can tell you that artists such as, Bad Passion Project and Crazy P have signed on to the Argonaughty, Arbiana and Barbarella’s boat parties. I know where my holiday bonus is going.

The festival is easier to reach than Kings Cross at rush hour. Tisno is situated right between Zadar and Split airports, with lots of flights from Europe to each. No hassle is needed for this holiday. News of the line-ups will be announced in the New Year, as The Garden Get Together Tour returns. The Garden Get Together Tour is going to take over many of the UK’s and Europe’s coolest clubs. These parties promise to bring some festival sunshine to our gloomy winter woes.
