Preview: Eastern Electrics Festival 2013
After becoming the fastest selling electronic music festival in 2012, this year’s Eastern Electrics Festival 2013 will be on August 2nd-4th, and is going to be bigger, later, longer and louder than ever before.
Located only 30 minutes from central London, EE will be held in the legendary Knebworth Park. This time around, it has been extended to three days and two full nights, to host some of the finest global artists and most sought-after rising talents in electronic music today. Friday will see the world premier of Moderat‘s highly anticipated second album through a live show playing out from EE’s custom-built Transformer Stage. Meanwhile, the all-night Generator Stage will be graced by the likes of Seth Troxler and Soul Bros. Saturday tickets are looked scarce, as Maceo Plex and Miguel Campell are playing the main stage, while a wide range of other electronic musicians play on bespoke stages and unique arenas. Sunday will look back over 20 years of electronic music, celebrating some of the most influential house and techno artists from music history, with main stage performances from Masters At Work and Kerri Chandler. Eastern Electrics is set to be a festival that will keep revelers entertained around the clock, not only through music, but also with a Roller Disco, karaoke, dressing up boudoir and secret stages.
Eastern Electrics Festival 2013 is from 2nd – 4th August, with tickets available here.
