Beyoncé announces release of country-themed Renaissance Act II

Beyoncé has announced the release of a country-themed album as a follow up to her house-influenced 2022 album Renaissance.

Renaissance Act II is the next instalment of the planned album trilogy, and will be released on March 29.

The album reveal began with a Super Bowl advert that ended with Beyoncé teasing, “OK, they ready — drop the new music. I told y’all the ‘Renaissance’ is not over”. Soon after, her team shared teasers on Instagram.

The first two singles off the LP, Texas Hold ‘Em and 16 Carriages, were released on Monday.
