Arcadia returns to Glastonbury
Performance and event group Arcadia will bringing its iconic, world-touring fire-breathing spider stage to this year’s Glastonbury festival.
“The Arcadia Spider was born at Glastonbury, rapidly becoming one of the festival’s best-loved destination,” the crew explained. It’s been three years since the Spider returned, and the stage will welcome a debut performance from Calvin Harris, and a B2B set with Carl Cox and Chase and Status.
Four Tet, Kurupt FM, and Sub Focuse B2B Dimension will also take over the Arcadia stage. Full line up below:
Believing that creativity can still be environmentally conscious, the Spider is exclusively made from up-cycled and repurposed metal and hardware.
According to the Arcadia website, it is “fully rigged with a vast array of effects from moveable limbs firing C02, to heavyweight pyrotechnics, to piercing lasers to cutting edge lighting.”
