Bored artist mistakes eyebrows for paint canvas
An up-and-coming artist has inspired the full judgement of the British public, from art critics to social services.
Sammie-Jo Hailford utilises paint as both ink and sculpture, with her eyebrows as the canvas for her creativity.
“It all began because I didn’t have a local art supply shop nearby. I thought, everything can be canvas. And that’s when I started painting my eyebrows – the project – and my brows – grew from there.”
However, the less artistically inclined amongst us have said she shouldn’t be a mother and instead threaten to ring social services because of her eyebrows.

Regardless of her questionable choices, she explains it is a retaliation against today’s beauty standards.
In that sense, I suppose it has been a successful statement.
