Joe Biden celebrates Presidential debate at White Castle after trying to find the White House

President Joe Biden celebrated his triumphant debate performance against Donald Trump by donning his favorite pair of slippers and embarking on a journey back to the White House – only to end up at a White Castle.

Biden, who was lauded by his supporters for managing to complete the debate at all, got lost on the way back to the presidential abode.

White House aides reported that after the debate, Biden managed to slip past his security detail and was soon spotted wandering the streets asking for directions to White Castle instead of the White House.

Spokesperson Chuck Williams commented, “The President has a unique way of unwinding after a big night. He just loves a late-night meal. And who wouldn’t, after thrashing an opponent with quick wit and wise whips for hours on live TV? Most importantly, he was very, very tired – and we all know what that feels like. He asked for the wrong directions, but who hasn’t?!”

Biden’s aides were eventually able to retrieve him thanks to a helpful waitress who noticed the “If Found, Please Return to the White House” tag on his robe.

Williams added, “We’re grateful to the public and staff who helped guide the President back. He has a lot of important decisions to make, like what color tie to wear for his next press conference.”
