Outrage over Downing Street Parties
As the Metropolitan police are currently investigating 12 parties that took place at Downing Street during COVID lockdowns and restrictions, publications throughout the media have taken the opportunity to fuel opinionated agendas.
Below is a list of parties that are currently being investigated:
May 20, 2020: Downing Street garden.
June 18, 2020: A new party uncovered by Sue Gray at 70 Whitehall to mark the departure of a No 10 private secretary.
June 19, 2020: Boris Johnson’s birthday party in his Downing Street flat.
November 13, 2020: Two: one in the No 11 flat; two, next door for Lee Cain, the PM’s departing director of communications.
December 17, 2020: Three: a farewell for Kate Josephs, former Director General of the Covid Taskforce, given a send off; Cabinet Office “Christmas party; and a gathering in No 10 for the departure of an official.
December 18, 2020: Christmas party at No 10.
January 14, 2021: A gathering in No 10 Downing Street for the departure of two private secretaries.
April 16, 2021: Two parties at No 10.
